Modular customization for your individual needs
The BAYOOSOFT Access Manager is a scalable solution that can be flexibly adjusted with modules and interfaces to suit your needs. It natively supports Windows Fileserver, Windows Cluster, DFS, CIFS-based storage systems, NetApp, and Samba Shares, as well as SharePoint 2013, 2016, and SharePoint in Office 365. The scalable agent concept makes the solution ideal for any company size and organization structure – even for globally distributed locations and data volumes in multi-domain environments. The Access Manager was designed multilingual for use in international environments.
Thanks to the Access Manager’s modularity, we enable you to adjust the functional scope to use in your company – without reinstalling the software. The range of extra modules is expanded continuously.

The volume of data stored on file servers is steadily growing, while the fixed IT costs per employee or device need to be kept constant or even reduced. Does this sound familiar to you?
A field-proven solution is to introduce volume-dependent charging of cost centers according to the cost-by-cause principle (chargeback).
The Fileserver Accounting expansion module encourages your process with automatically recording storage space usage based on assigned cost centers, definable price models, and the automated export of billing data.
With the Password Reset module, a self-service reset tool, employees can reset forgotten passwords themselves without contacting the service desk – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The module is easy to use and has an extremely high user acceptance. This allows you to make your password management processes efficient and cost-optimized.
The Password Reset is characterized by a very flexible configurability. Users can choose between different authentication methods, which can be combined to comply with the security policy of the target system. In practice, this means that, for example, a simple authentication is sufficient for the password for intranet applications, but a 2-factor authentication is used when resetting the password for an SAP HR system.
The module Easy Desktop offers end users even more convenience in self-service: The Microsoft WindowsTM Explorer plug-in EASY DESKTOP enables the most important functions to be executed directly via the context menu of the respective directories.
Directories managed by the Access Manager and visible in Self Service are marked by an orange symbol directly on the folder. Right-clicking on such an authorisation folder opens its context menu and the following functions are directly available:
- Request access permissions / manage directories
- Request AM subdirectories
- Send link “Request access permissions”
- open BAYOOSOFT Access Manager
