The standard specifies requirements to help organizations implement and maintain an effective information security management system (ISMS). The focus lies on identifying, assessing and minimizing risks in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.<\/p>\n<p>The standard defines clear measures and controls that help to identify and assess risks and introduce suitable protective measures. In addition, the implementation of ISO 27001 helps to increase trust and credibility with customers, partners and stakeholders. ISO 27001 certification enables companies to demonstrate that they take the security of their information and data seriously and tackle it systematically.
